Great news for Waterdown Memorial Park: approximately 37 new trees have been approved to be planted this fall near the Skate park area. This will provide some much needed shade for those enjoying the park for years to come.
My office has received confirmation from our Planning & Engineering staff that construction of the Clappison bridge and culvert is scheduled to begin mid September. This roadway will connect Dundas Street and Parkside Drive, from Boston Pizza to the new Stryker building.
The City has contracted Rankin Construction Inc. to construct North Waterdown Drive from Mosaic Drive to Babcock Street this fall, which will form part of the Waterdown East-West Bypass corridor.
