For Carlisle residents, there is a rumour that a stoplight will be installed at the four way stop intersection of Centre Road and Carlisle Road. This is not true. The four way stop intersection will stay as is. There are no plans to install a stop light in Carlisle.
Residents will be pleased to learn that Councillor Partridge and city planning staff have met with the property developers over the years and there are now plans in place to erect a two story office building, similar in appearance to the Copper Kettle, which will be a welcome addition to the core.
