The Hamilton Port Authority is undertaking a review and updating its Land Use Plan to include the many changes at the harbour front over the past 15 years. Since the Land Use Plan was competed back in 2002, the Hamilton Port Authority has acquired new properties, more public space, and changing security requirements. A draft of the update is expected to be prepared for January, with a final version for February. Consultation is being performed through an online survey which residents are encouraged to complete as well as meetings with community groups and agencies. Residents can also send comments to LUP@hamiltonport.ca. For more information, click here.
