The parking lot at Waterdown’s Memorial Park will be repaved.
However, Ward 15 Coun. Judi Partridge said the project is more complex than a simple paving endeavour.
She noted the site requires new underground grading and drainage.
“So it then became, instead of a repaving project, it became an engineered site plan project.”Partridge said the paving must be completed before November.
“It has to be done before the Santa Claus parade,” she said. “I’m expecting that they’re going to start by the beginning of September.”
She noted the cost for the project is about $650,000.
