On July 24, 2017 at 5:53 pm the suspect was at a store on Hamilton Street North. The suspect was seen selecting items, concealing them and then taking them to the customer service desk. There the suspect claimed to be returning the items and received a refund. Security approached the suspect who fled in a vehicle. Police will be following up.
On July 25, 2017 police and fire were called to a residence on Tynedale Court for a basement fire. The firefighters put out the fire and nobody was at home at the time of the fire. There was extensive smoke and water damage to the home. The home owners were located and advised. The Fire Marshall’s office attended and took over the investigation.
During the early hours of July 27, 2017 a resident of a Dennis Avenue home had their three garbage bins removed. The suspects then dumped garbage in the neighbourhood. Two bins were located and one remains outstanding.
On July 28th at 8:20 am a resident of Fellowes Crescent noticed that his vehicle had been entered overnight. The vehicle had been parked on the roadway overnight and the driver’s side door lock was damaged and a briefcase was taken from the vehicle.
