Some time between June 24th at 9:00 pm and June 26th at 5:00 pm unknown suspects entered a garage on Gavin Drive via an unlocked rear window. A 2003 Yamaha ATV was taken.
On June 28th at 5:30 pm a Ford vehicle towing a horse trailer was southbound on Highway 52 at Governor’s Road. The Ford came upon a Red tractor towing farm equipment northbound on Highway 52. The towed farm equipment was not within the lane and as it passed it struck the horse trailer. The Ford stopped but the tractor left the area. No one was injured, including the horses. Police were unable to locate the tractor.
On June 28th police received two reports of aggressive driving on the aggressive driver hotline/email (905-546-1768 firstname.lastname@example.org) . One was from Parkside Drive and the other from Governor’s Road. In each case a licence plate was obtained and the registered owner was issued a letter from the police.
Some time overnight on June 30th suspects took a 2010 Triumph motorcycle from the rear of an address on Barton Street in Waterdown. Police will be reviewing video from businesses in the area.
On July 1st at 8:27 pm while on active patrol, police stopped a vehicle for speeding on Parkside Drive. A check of the driver revealed that he was a suspended driver. His licence was seized, he was issued a ticket for speeding and a court summons for driving while under suspension.
On July 2nd at 5:02 pm an attentive officer noticed a vehicle with an expired validation sticker. The vehicle was pulled over and it was discovered that the driver was under suspension. He was issued a court summons for driving while under suspension.
