During the early hours of April 23rd four vehicles were entered while parked on Hiscott Drive, Nisbet Boulevard, Chudleigh Street and Sunnycroft Court. In some cases the doors were damaged or window smashed and in one case the vehicle was left unlocked. All vehicles were rummaged through and various items taken or damaged. Police will be reviewing possible surveillance video.
On the afternoon of April 26th while at a business on Highway 5 the victim’s rear licence plate was stolen. There are no suspects at this time.
On the evening of April 30th the victim was at a business on Clappison Avenue when both licence plates were stolen from her vehicle. Store video was reviewed with negative results.
On April 27th at 8:27 pm police were dispatched to a motor vehicle collision on Campbellville Road. The driver reported that a deer had run out in front of his vehicle and he swerved to avoid it. He then lost control of the vehicle which hit a guard rail. The vehicle sustained extensive damage. Thankfully no injuries were reported.
On April 29th at 4:05 am a vehicle was eastbound on Crooks Hollow Road when a deer jumped out in front of the vehicle. The driver swerved to avoid the deer and hit a hydro pole. The pole was snapped and Hydro had to attend the scene. The air bags were deployed however the driver did not report any injuries.
