Councillor Partridge would like to invite everyone to a Ground-Breaking Ceremony at Waterdown Memorial Hall on Thursday April 4 at 1:00 pm for the Landscaping and Waterproofing Construction project commencing early April and be complete early July.
This exciting project involves new entry stairs and retaining walls with new landscaping design in the front yard, including lighting, grading, drainage, seating benches, new planting beds and the re-installation of historic World War 1 plaques, Commemorative bell and fountain. The construction also includes waterproofing repair for the Memorial Hall basement.
Waterdown Memorial Hall was built in honour of our local residents who lost their lives servicing Canada in WW1. This project was part of the original Waterdown Memorial Hall Restoration project developed and approved by local representatives of Waterdown Legion, Flamborough Archives, Waterdown BIA, Councillor Partridge, City of Hamilton Staff and residents.
