After the Ontario Municipal Board (OMB) trial in June, the hearing judge’s ruling came in this August unfortunately in favor of the development. More information will be updated here once it becomes available.
For nine days in June, Councillor Partridge and many residents attended the OMB hearings to oppose this development, including the City Lawyer. General themes from residents included too high density for the site, traffic concerns, lack of green space and site elevation grading concerns with existing residential properties.
Councillor Partridge is extremely disappointed that the OMB has yet again ruled in favor of more development in Waterdown, which the City had opposed.
