Healthy Youth Network (HYN) is developing a Parent Portal and would welcome any feedback. They are looking for 6 – 8 engaged parents, representing diverse demographics, to serve on a Parent Panel, that will guide this work. Please contact penny@healthyouthnetwork.ca if you are interested.
I encourage everyone to visit HYN’s Youth Portal, where youth can find information, resources and support – including links to youth serving organizations, on topics under Health & Well-being, Education, Future-Ready and more.
Partnering with Councillor Judi Partridge, Healthy Youth Network and Soroptimist International of Dundas, Ancaster and Flamborough are also hosting a free virtual career-support conference on Saturday February 6th geared for girls in High School. The event will provide young women access to career education, speak to professional role models, access to resources, promote self-esteem and good health by learning how to create achievable goals, rise above obstacles and balance day-to-day stress.
