Councillor Partridge is pleased to share that her Flamborough Community Council (FCC) started again this November. FCC members will serve in an advisory capacity to the Councillor and will provide a forum for the discussion of agenda items pertaining to the development, economic growth and rural agricultural issues and changes to municipal policies that directly impact the community of Waterdown/East Flamborough.
The FCC membership includes representatives of the Waterdown BIA, Flamborough Chamber of Commerce, Flamborough Archives, Flamborough Seniors Board, Flamborough Connects, Healthy Community – Healthy Youth, Village Theatre of Waterdown and interested citizens-at-large. Their observations and input will assist the Councillor as she represents the residents of the communities of Ward 15 – Waterdown, Millgrove, Flamborough Centre, Carlisle and Freelton. The meetings will take place every 4-6 weeks at Harry Howell Arena. No meetings will be held in July, August or December.
The Flamborough Community Council will contribute to the diversity of view-points within the communities of Ward 15, and each member brings to the table a mixture of knowledge, experience, contacts and concerns that will continue to assist Councillor Partridge’s strong representation in addressing the overall residential/commercial/industrial development, economic growth and rural agricultural issues of Waterdown / East Flamborough.
