As a Strategic Partner, I am pleased to share that Healthy Youth Network, formerly HC-HY Flamborough, has a new look and website. Over the past 10 years I have been very pleased to support the Healthy Youth Network (HYN) which is also supported by Public Health, Hamilton Board of Education, City of Hamilton and more. This is an important conversation with youth for all of us to have about empowering them. It is essential for everyone to support the mental health and well-being of our youth. Join me and let’s see what we can do together.
Since launching in 2009, HYN has been focused on defining the problem, developing key relationships, educating the community on the importance of building Developmental Assets, and piloting projects that can address the need. Please click here for more information.
We remain committed to building assets and relationships, an evidence based approach to positive youth development. Now, we are taking active steps to collaborate with our partners, communities and youth to implement sustainable ways of working together to achieve positive outcomes. By helping you reach your goals, we reach ours!
As a first step, HYN will be launching our new website which will contain portals for youth, parents, partners and mentors (please click here for sample of Youth Portal). Through these portals, our partners can;
CONNECT to support, resources, information and others.
LEARN more about youth and help them learn more about you.
GROW by accessing training and reaching your goals.
Over the next couple of weeks, HYN will be adding resources, information and support under each of the Youth and Parent Portal categories. To learn more, or if you have something you would like to share, please email Penny Deathe.
