I am pleased to announce a partnership with city of Hamilton and Guelph University to participate in the Regional/Rural Broadband Project. As a huge advocate for improved Internet Broadband connectivity for Flamborough, I encourage all residents, rural, home-based business, farms, and agri-businesses to complete this survey to provide direct feedback on your experience with internet connectivity.
We are working with the Regional and Rural Broadband (R2B2) Project at the University of Guelph to study the economic benefits of broadband investment across our communities. As part of the project, this survey will help collect information on how all rural residents and businesses are using the internet.
Participation is voluntary, and you may opt out of any question in the survey. Participants should have access to their existing service provider name and contract information if applicable at hand to answer a portion of the survey. All responses will be kept confidential and only used for statistical purposes.
As more people work and operate their businesses from home, reliable, high speed internet as an essential service has never been more important. Modern infrastructure availability is critical for our digital future and we know there are areas within our city that do not have reliable broadband access.
