The Waterdown Village Built Heritage Inventory project has entered its final stage and a virtual open house is now available online to explain the project findings and recommendations.
The project was initiated by the City of Hamilton in 2018 and involved completing updated surveys and preliminary heritage evaluations of all properties in the historic Village of Waterdown.
Virtual open house materials include:
- Display panels;
- Interactive mapping showing the property evaluations and recommendations; and,
- A comprehensive Historic Context Statement for the village.
The virtual open house will close Monday, September 21, 2020. Please note that letters have been sent to the owners of all properties recommended for listing on the Register and identified as designation candidates, notifying them of the draft recommendations and inviting them to visit the virtual open house on the project webpage.
